Nvidia makes the chips that power artificial intelligence. If you have used ChatGPT, asked an AI to generate an image, or heard about companies spending billions on AI data centers, Nvidia's processors are the engines behind almost all of it. The company holds roughly 80-85% of the market for AI training and inference chips, making it effectively the picks-and-shovels supplier for the biggest technology wave since the internet.

For every dollar Nvidia takes in, it keeps about 63 cents as profit.
